SWRRFI Scientific Research Committee

The SWRRFI Scientific Research Committee includes:

• 

  Professor Michael Bryden (Chair)

  Professor Bryden joined the SWRRFI committee as a founding member in 1991. Although retired, he retains the position of Emeritus Professor, University of Sydney, and Director of the Australian Marine Mammal Research Centre, and is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Queensland.

• 

  Associate Professor Mark Hindell

  Dr. Hindell has been a member of the SWRRFI committee since 1995 and currently runs the Antarctic Wildlife Research Unite in the School of Zoology, University of Tasmania.

• 

  Dr Cath Kemper

  Dr Kemper has been a member of the SWRRFI committee since 1995 and is the Curator of Mammals at the South Australian Museum.

• 

  Associate Professor Iain Suthers

  Dr. Suthers joined the SWRRFI committee in 2001. Dr Suthers is an Associate Professor at the University of NSW in the School of Biological Earth and Environmental Sciences.

• 

  Dr Jenny Ovenden

  Dr Ovenden joined the committee in 2004. Dr Ovenden is a Senior Fisheries Geneticist with the Queensland Department of Primary Industries.

• 

  Professor Gordon Grigg

  Professor Grigg joins the committee in 2007. He is Professor of Zoology at the School of Integrated Biology, the University of Queensland.
