Overview

Join a qualified Shark Bay diver for an exciting diving adventure, as you get up close and personal with sharks and marine life at Shark Bay. Shark Bay's Reef Lagoon is where you will take your underwater adventure, swimming with smaller whitetip and blacktip reef sharks. Many colourful tropical fish will be schooling around you as you observe stingrays, which grace the bottom of the lagoon. Follow an educational trail with underwater signage and look through to the Shark Lagoon to see the larger Sharks.

And the best news is, because Shark Bay replicates a natural tropical environment the lagoons are heated during the cooler months offering warm waters all year round!

In the water, participants are always accompanied by a Dive Escort to ensure their safety at all times. Program duration is approximately 60 minutes with approximately 20 minutes in the water.

Participants are supplied with a wet suit and all diving equipment.

For the safety of the animals we do not permit jewellery to be worn on any Animal Adventures program.

All Shark SCUBA participants must have and present on the day a current Diving Certification. The cost is $90.00* per person.

Shark SCUBA programs are available 7 days a week and have approximately eight participants per program.

*All prices are in Australian dollars, are valid until 30 June 2009, are subject to change without notice, and are inclusive of GST.
